Practice areas
Criminal and minor offence law
Based on extensive experience and knowledge and understanding of criminal law, our firm provides legal assistance to clients in all areas of criminal law, including the comprehensive preparation of the defence strategy and of the defendants themselves for criminal proceedings, accompanying clients in court and looking after their interests and protecting their rights throughout the proceedings.
We represent or defend our clients in pre-trial proceedings before the police, in minor offence, criminal investigation and criminal prosecution proceedings before the courts, and in proceedings related to the enforcement of criminal sanctions. Our team understands that each case is its own story, and our approach is tailored to the details of each individual case.
Commercial Law
Commercial law is a set of legal rules that is strongly intertwined with other areas of our
work, and includes contract law, commercial transactions, corporate law, the status of
companies, as well as other relationships between commercial law entities in the market,
such as competition law, intellectual property, personal data protection, debt recovery and
dispute resolution.
In the area of commercial law, we provide a comprehensive service to our clients, ranging
from the establishment and management of a company and other status changes to
contractual relationships, where we can provide services in the negotiation phase of a
transaction and the appropriate identification and protection against risks, as well as in
potential disputes before the competent courts or in alternative dispute resolution
procedures. Our legal advice is based on considering the client's interests and the
specificities of the industry in which the client operates, and pursuing cost-effective and
business-oriented solutions that reduce the client's exposure to business risk.
Civil Law
Civil law is extremely broad and varied because of the dynamics of life and the diversity of relationships that arise between individuals on a daily basis. With our in- depth knowledge of civil law, we assist our clients by advising and representing them in legal relations or in concluding transactions, by preparing the necessary documentation for concluding civil law transactions, by providing legal opinions, as well as by interpreting and mediating in the settlement of disputes between the parties, and by advising and representing our clients in court proceedings at all levels.
The classic areas of civil law in which we provide our clients with comprehensive and efficient solutions include the law of obligations (tort law, contract law, etc.), the law of property (e.g. neighbour law) and inheritance law. The broader concept of civil law also includes family law (divorce, children, contacts, maintenance, etc.) and civil enforcement law. In addition to the above, within civil law, we also advise and represent clients in the areas of real estate law, medical law, media law, land registry law and sports law.
Labour and Social security Law
Our services include legal advice on the formation and termination of employment relationships, the review and drafting of labour law acts, the regulation of employer- employee relations, and the representation of clients in proceedings before the competent authorities, including both dispute resolution within the framework of employers' internal mechanisms (disciplinary proceedings) and before labour and social security courts, as well as through alternative dispute resolution methods. In the context of comprehensive employer-employee relations, we assist clients in negotiations with trade unions and works councils, and advise them on major reorganisations, mass redundancies and also on restructuring procedures (either as part of insolvency proceedings or regular reorganisations).
In providing our services and tasks in the field of employment law, we are aware that the relationship between employees and employers is particularly important. For this reason, and in compliance with and respect for labour law standards, our services are provided to employees to the same extent as to employers in cases of discriminatory practices by employers, workplace bullying and in general when workers' rights are violated. We also advise clients in claiming unemployment, health, pension and disability insurance rights, and represent them in social disputes before the courts.
Administrative Law
The administrative procedure is most often encountered in income tax decisions, pension and disability decisions, decisions of social work centres, employment service, building permits, sickness decisions, decisions of inspection authorities (tax, market, labour inspectorates, etc.), etc. In addition to drafting applications and appeals against decisions of administrative authorities and representing clients in administrative proceedings and administrative disputes, in the field of administrative law, we advise clients on a wide range of matters related to obtaining permits in various areas of law, such as environmental law, personal data protection, intellectual property law, construction law, energy law, etc. We also provide legal advice and representation to public entities.
